The Georgia State Patrol reports that John N. Voorhees, 74, of Hiram, Georgia was killed and three others injured in a three-vehicle wreck Saturday night in Paulding County.
Voorhees was a passenger in a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis that struck a Chevrolet Tahoe at the intersection of Ga. 120 and Ga. 92 around 7:00 pm. Voorhees died at the scene.
Voorhees’ wife, Jackie Ann Voorhees, 73, was driving the Mercury. Jackie Ann Voorhees and two people in the Tahoe, Vernell Brown Martin, 35, and Sherrie Green, 31, of Powder Springs, were all transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.
No charges had been filed at this time.
