Alpharetta police report a man died late Wednesday in a single-vehicle wreck.
The driver, Jason Dapice, 36, of Alpharetta was traveling in a Toyota Corolla eastbound on Cumming Street near Clairmont Avenue. For reasons unknown at this time, his vehicle left the roadway and hit a utility pole. The vehicle then caught on fire.
Emergency responders were able to pull Dapice from the vehicle, and he was taken to North Fulton Hospital. Unfortunately, he did not survive.
