ATV Crash Lawsuit Settled for $2.7 Million

by on January 16, 2012 » Add the first comment.

19-year-old Jonathon Byram, a college student from Sykesville, Maryland, was killed when the all-terrain vehicle he was in flipped. Byram was the passenger; the driver was Mark Renehan, a college student from Connecticut.

The accident happened in the early morning hours after a July 4th party. Byram’s estate filed a wrongful death lawsuit in Federal Court, claiming Reneham was intoxicated and driving too fast and recklessly, causing the death of Byram. The lawsuit also alleged that Reneham’s family “continuously” served Byram, Reneham, and their friends alcohol leading up to the accident.

Krause Golomb & Witcher, LLC have almost 20 years of experience handling wrongful death cases. Please contact us if you or someone you know is  injured due to the negligence of another.
